Grand Oaks Elementary School was a newly-constructed school as part of a bond that included an adjacent junior high school, north of Houston. We were contracted to paint murals at both schools.
At this school, we painted 2 murals on the same masonry wall within the gymnasium. Both were text murals, one of which also included a paw logo within the text. The light colors, by architectural design, contrasted very well with the wall color. Both murals were carefully positioned on the wall to avoid wall obstructions as best as possible. One of the two was positioned at a height that could not avoid a wall obstruction. The request was for us to paint the obstructed section directly onto the wall plate.
