Born in 2012, Abigail Arias made national headlines when at the age of 4, she had been diagnosed with stage 4 Wilms Tumor Cancer. Undergoing aggressive treatment, Abigail made headway and was cancer free in October of 2017. Six months later, the cancer returned and was given less than one year to live.
Abigails parents, Ruben and Ilene Arias, held onto their faith in God and made her time left on earth one that would spread like wildfire not only throughout the United States, but throughout the world. Abigail’s dream of becoming a cop was granted by the Freeport Police Department in Freeport, Texas. Then Chief of Police, Ray Garivey, granted Abigail Honorary Freeport Police Officer, Badge 758.
On November 5th, 2019, Abigail went to be with her Lord and Savior. This pencil illustration was created for the Arias family as an ever-lasting gift of their fallen Angel, Abigail Arias.
