This request was for a text mural to be painted on an outdoor stage at a newly renovated school in the heart of Houston. The previously and recently painted text mural at that time had flaked off on various large portions of the stage.
The stage was first power-washed to rid the concrete from the paint that was initially used. We then utilized a commercial water-based concrete paint for the white base. The final step in this process was to use custom made stencils during the painting of the 4 large black letters, SWHS across most of the 74′ x 26′ surface. The paint used for the letters was the same brand commercial water-based concrete paint.
