This was a newly constructed school in the south part of Houston, Texas.
The contract was for 2 custom painted murals inside the gymnasium. The first was of a knight on a horse above the wall pads and mirrors. The surface we painted was a fibrous and porous rubber-type surface of substantial height, necessitating multi-tiered scaffolding for access. This was a prime example of having to use superior paint quality on the porous surface where image definition is critical. An adhesive vinyl mural would not have adhered to this type of substrate.
The 2nd mural was a text mural above the bleachers.
